mic, 2012 01 13: While developing and testing version 3 of Orinj, we discovered some issues in version 2.3.0 with the computation of various frequency filters in the DSP effects. These affect all effects that use frequency filters: the bass chorus, the compressor (as it is a multi- band one), the graphic equalizer, the notch filter, the parametric equalizer, the reverb (because of its equalization), and the simple reverb (because of its equalization / brightness). These have now all been fixed, which means that all of the aforementioned effects should sound a lot smoother. In the process, we also made changes to ensure that these effects use smaller amounts of memory and operate faster.
In the process of revising these effects, we also noted that the precision of the graphic and parametric equalizers was inverted. When the user increased precision, the equalizers became less precise. This is now also corrected.
Finally, we made some changes to correct the transitions in the notch filter presets and one of the values in the graphic equalizer "mids only" preset.
These fixes were posted with version 2.4.0 of Orinj on 2012 01 13.
