mic, 2012 04 07: In version 2.4.0 of Orinj there were two bugs related to the selecting and cutting of waves.
The first bug was minor: whenever the user would select over one wave and cut it, the selected portion of that wave will disappear, but a selection would remain in other waves for the same part of the timeline, in tracks above or below. If the user then makes another selection, waves with selected parts would change colors to colors that should not be used by the application. Eventually, the "orange-ness" of the waves will be lost. This by itself did not prevent the user from continuing to use the application.
The second bug was more important: Occasionally, when the user cuts a wave, the thread that draws the cut wave would conflict with the thread used to draw the wave during selecting. In this case, the application would throw an exception and crash. The used would no longer be able to use Orinj and would have to restart it.
Both bugs were fixed with Orinj version 2.4.1 and uploaded to this site on April 7, 2014.
