mic, 2016 03 29: There is an error in the way effect dialogs communicate with the track controls panels to the left of the track. For example, if you create two effects and leave their dialogs open, then remove one of the effects, and then try to change the second effect title, you might get an error. When the title of the effect is changed in the effect dialog, it also has to be changed in the drop-down box in the track control panel to the left of the track. Sometimes this does not work as intended.

Effect dialogs are not modal. In other words, you can work with the rest of Orinj while the dialogs remain open. This means that the rest of Orinj must be updated as the user makes changes in the effect dialog, while the dialog is open. Specifically, the drop-down boxes with effects for each track must be updated when the user makes changes in the effect dialogs. Vice versa – the effect dialogs must be updated when changes occur in the rest of Orinj. This second type of updating was not done correctly.

mic, 2016 03 31: This was fixed with Orinj version 2.5.3, which was uploaded on March 31, 2016.
