Release of Orinj version 8.0.4

Version 8.0.4 includes several hotfixes.

  • Fixed how Mac OS is recognized, since this was causing problems on some systems
  • Changed how the VST system was loaded on Windows, since some installations were not able to use VST
  • Changed how the user folder for effect presets (/wiki/orinj-effects) was created and how Orinj works when that folder cannot be created

The following are other changes between this version 8.0.4 and the previous version 8.0.3

  • Moved to Java 21, since it is the current long term support version. Java 10 and above is still supported
  • Fixed a message when removing a track that the track was used by a side chained effect. The message occasionally popped up even for effects that are not side chained ones
  • Added a fifth saw wave generator to the single wave view
  • Added a pulse wave generator to the single wave view
