There are three important changes between the previous version 9.0.7 of Orinj and this version 9.0.8.
- Simplified VSTs and corrected VSTs on MacOS
- Fixed playback in the MIDI roll view for an error introduced in the previous version. Playback was mixing sampling rates and resolutions and was slow
- Tested all effects with very small buffers (see Orinj Preferences). There are fixes to: DC removal, Flanger, Graphic equalizer, Parametric equalizer, Pitch shift, Reverb, Simple reverb, Spectrum monitor, and Vibrato and tremolo
Other changes are as follows.
- Added detail to the Spectrum monitor
- Fixed the graph of the Parametric equalizer when all bands are set to zero
- Fix the Limiter, as it was not looking forward correctly
- Optimized the Dither for faster processing
- Fixed the Chorus to properly set left and right channel gain when the two channels are locked
- Added shelf type presets to the equalizers
- Fixed scrolling in the session and MIDI with the mouse wheel to speed it up
- Revised selected compressor presets
- Made some corrections to reduce wave repainting and prevent errors that may stop the painting of waves
- Fixed an error in VST processors that may cause Orinj to crash on exit when a new VST is added but never played
- Fixed an error that may drop waves in a track when switching between the single wave view (/wiki/orinj-single-wave-view) and the session if those waves use the same sound file in separate blocks
- Fixed error messages when there are playback errors
- Fixed an error that would cause the wrong automation to appear when a session is saved, closed, and reopened
- Fixed multiple messages when opening a MIDI file that uses a missing SF2 files
