Orinj version 9.1.1

Version 9.1.1 includes some important fixes to the previous version 9.1.0 as well as numerous smaller fixes and improvements.

• Fixes
  • Fixed an error that prevented the user form removing tracks from some aux channels
  • Fixed rewinding to start
  • Added working with keys (arrow down and up, page down and up) to all text fields (e.g., the box for the decay of the Orinj Delay)
  • Fixed the cleaning up of tracks when starting a new session
  • Fixed undo when changing volume and pan with the knobs to the left of each track in the session and in the loop view
  • Made sure automations are adjusted when destroying blocks
• Fixes to stock effects
• Fixed the enabling and disabling of controls in effects when playing premixed tracks
• Fixed the vibrato, as it was producing clicks
• Fixed buzzing in the left channel of the phaser
• Fixed undo to changes in the frequency of the aural exciter
• Changed multiple effects to better handle rounding of control values
• Fixed changes to the maximum frequency in the pitch shift
• Changed the default preset of the wah wah to be more audible with a wider filter
• Fixed undo in the flanger when changing sliders
• Fixed the compressor to better handle changes to all bands and when operating as a single band compressor. Changed all compressor presets to use fast frequency filters
• Fixed the undo to changes in the maximum impulses in the multitap delay
• Changed the reverb and simple reverb to better handle diffusion (smoothness) and adjusted their computations to produce a less metallic sound
• Fixed shelving filter as it was not properly using changes to its gain during playback
• Changed the shelving filter and the noise generator to produce more intuitive band cut filters
• Changed the convolution so that it remembers the folder of the last impulse
• Fixed how the bouncing echo handles the last repetition. Removed an error message from the bouncing echo when there were differences between sweep repetitions and the maximum number of repetitions
• Fixed how VST windows are handled when switching away from the wave view and when VST effects are removed from the wave view. Fixed how Orinj keeps track of opened VST windows
• Other smaller fixes
  • Fixed the frequency content dialog so tooltips with frequency and gain are always shown. In previous versions, they would occasionally disappear
  • Revised all effects with left and right channel controls (e.g., the chorus, flanger, phaser, vibrato) so that controls are organized consistently (left controls together, right controls together)
  • Fixed the drawing of tracks moved up in the session view when tracks are removed or moved
  • Fixed the volume of generators

This new version also includes many cosmetic changes that: fix the precision of controls, correct selected undo messages, use consistent labels for sliders, make disabled controls easier to read, improve labels on graphs, use consistent colors for graphs, use consistent layout for OK and Cancel, use consistent control sizes and labels, better handle decimal values in controls, improve the display of knobs and other controls, and make menus with checks more visible.
